Our core business is providing world-class tours. However, the fundamental goal of our company is to eliminate poverty throughout the country. We achieve this through generous benefits for our local employees and a profit-sharing agreement with Selfless Solutions, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering the people of Tanzania.
Karibu Tena was founded by the same social entrepreneurs who created Selfless Solutions. Since January 2019, Selfless Solutions has been successfully empowering Tanzanian changemakers with resources, coaching, and support services, then working in partnership with them to co-create projects that provide people with opportunities to reach their full potential.
Inspired by all the people around the world who have expressed interest in joining the cause, these entrepreneurs decided to create Karibu Tena to give people a trusted and comfortable vehicle through which they can begin to engage and connect with Tanzania and its people, knowing that some of these guests might become valuable partners in the continued struggle against poverty throughout the country.

Serengeti
Visit the Serengeti National Park and witness the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth, the Great Migration. The National park is also renowned for its predators, especially tree-climbing lions. Other big predators that call the Serengeti home include cheetahs, leopards and hyenas.
Ngorongoro
The Ngorongoro Crater is 12 Miles wide and has a surface area of 164 square miles, making it one of the largest unbroken craters in the world. On the crater floor, predators and prey play out daily battles for survival. With such incredible scenery and animal interaction, clients will wonder if they've descended into a wildlife paradise.
Mt. Kilimanjaro
Unlike the other parks, this isn't a place for wildlife. Rather, people from around the world flock to Kilimanjaro to gaze in awe at the snow-capped mountain and to summit the "roof of Africa". Mt. Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest mountain at over 19,000 feet, and is one of the continents most remarkable sights.
